This month we've:
-Started using the gDiaper cloth diaper system for Anders which is going very well.
-We had our first sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa Parcels' house during the big storm because our heat went out. =
-Joline started rolling to her side.
-Both babies are sucking their thumbs pretty regularly now.
-Sleeping from 11pm-7am (not consistently but we'll take what we can get).
-Moved to their nursery from the bassinet in our bedroom. Yay!
-Anders started taking rice cereal in his bottles to help with reflux issues. Joline now gets rice cereal in the last bottle of the day too; this helps her sleep longer.
-Both are wearing 0-3 or 3 month outfits.
-Started practicing sitting up in the Bumbo chairs. (They still can't completely hold their own heads up yet but we practice a little every day.)
-We are getting lots of smiles from both babies; I can't wait to hear some giggles starting soon!
We're so thankful for happy healthy babies and we look forward to the new things they will discover in the next month! They are not officially 3 months until the 25th so this post is a little premature. :)
In other news, we've had quite an interesting month in regard to health too. Some of you have inquired so I'll give you the full story here. This past Sunday morning I woke Jared up about 1:30am kicking him. He startled awake to find me having a grand mal (Tonic Clonic) seizure. This is the first grand mal seizure I have ever had. I have Epilepsy but all of my seizures up until now have been petti mal (partial complex). Not knowing what exactly to do he called my mom who confirmed that he should call an ambulance. Thankfully, the seizure happened in bed so there wasn't any real physical harm other than biting my tongue pretty bad. Apparently I have a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) and these can sometimes cause seizures. Why it was more severe than my usual seizure I'm not sure but hopefully once that gets cleared up I won't have any other grand mals. One of the most disappointing things about it is that I was a week away from being able to drive again. I haven't driven since August 2012 because of my seizures and I was really looking forward to having that freedom back but now it will be another 6 months. I know that safety is more important than my freedoms both for myself and the babies as well as other drivers. So you can bet that when I do get that freedom back I will not take it lightly. It is a privilege.
Well I think that's enough boring health stuff... :) I hope you all are doing well!
God Bless,
-CW

Sorry to hear about the seizure, but praise God that it happened while you were in bed, and not a week later maybe driving on the road. God's timing is perfect. The babies are so adorable, and making great progress.
